ಚತುರ್ಥೀ (caturthī — dative)

ಅರ್ಥ: ಸಂಪ್ರದಾನಕಾರಕ ಸೂಚಿಸುವ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ವಿಭಕ್ತಿ. Meaning: The fourth case — the dative.

ಚತುರ್ಥೀ ವಿಭಕ್ತಿ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಫಲ ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲುತ್ತದೋ, ಅಥವಾ ಯಾವ ಉದ್ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ — "ಗೆ/ಗಾಗಿ" ಎಂಬ ಅರ್ಥ.
