ಸಪ್ತಮೀ (saptamī — locative)

ಅರ್ಥ: ಅಧಿಕರಣಕಾರಕ ಸೂಚಿಸುವ ಏಳನೆಯ ವಿಭಕ್ತಿ. Meaning: The seventh case — the locative.

ಸಪ್ತಮೀ ವಿಭಕ್ತಿ ಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಯಾವಾಗ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ — "ಅಲ್ಲಿ/ಆಗ" ಎಂಬ ಅರ್ಥ.

The locative marks the place or time of an action — "in/on/at."
