ಅವ್ಯಯೀಭಾವ (avyayībhāva — adverbial compound)

ಅರ್ಥ: ಸಮಾಸವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಡೀ ಪದವೇ ಅವ್ಯಯ (ಬದಲಾಗದ ಪದ) ಆಗುವ ಸಮಾಸ. Meaning: A compound that itself becomes an indeclinable, functioning adverbially.

ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಉಪಸರ್ಗ/ಅವ್ಯಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿ, ಇಡೀ ಸಮಾಸ ಲಿಂಗ/ವಚನ/ವಿಭಕ್ತಿಗನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ಬದಲಾಗದೆ ಒಂದೇ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಒಂದು ಬಗೆಯ ಸಮಾಸಅರ್ಥ: ಎರಡು ಅಥವಾ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪದಗಳು ಸೇರಿ ಒಂದೇ ಪದವಾಗಿ ರೂಪುಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.
