ಪ್ರತ್ಯಯ (pratyaya — suffix)

ಅರ್ಥ: ಧಾತು ಅಥವಾ ಪ್ರಾತಿಪದಿಕದ ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಹೊಸ ಪದ/ರೂಪ ನಿಷ್ಪಾದಿಸುವ ಅಂಶ. Meaning: An ending attached to a root or stem to derive a new word or inflected form.
