ये तु धर्म्यामृतमिदं यथोक्तं पर्युपासते । श्रद्दधाना मत्परमा भक्तास्तेऽतीव मे प्रियाः ॥ १२-२०॥

ಆದರೆ ಯಾರು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ಈ ಧರ್ಮರೂಪ ಅಮೃತವನ್ನು ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ, ನನ್ನನ್ನೇ ಪರಮಗತಿಯಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಆರಾಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೋ, ಅಂತಹ ಭಕ್ತರು ನನಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಿಯರು.
ಶ್ಲೋಕಾರ್ಥ (ಶ್ಲೋಕ ಮಟ್ಟ)
ಆದರೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಈ ಧರ್ಮರೂಪ ಅಮೃತವನ್ನು ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ, ನನ್ನನ್ನೇ ಪರಮ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವ ಭಕ್ತರು ನನಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಿಯರು.
ವ್ಯಾಖ್ಯಾನ
ಈ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯದ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯದ ಶ್ಲೋಕ. ಕೃಷ್ಣನು ಮೇಲೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಕ್ತಿಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು (ಶ್ಲೋಕ ೧೩-೧೯) "ಧರ್ಮ್ಯಾಮೃತ" (ಧರ್ಮರೂಪ ಅಮೃತ) ಎಂದು ಕರೆದು, ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ತನ್ನನ್ನೇ ಪರಮಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಇದನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುವವರು ತನಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಿಯರೆಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭಕ್ತಿಯೋಗ ಎಂಬ ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೇ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.

Anvaya (Phrase Level)
ye tu idam yathoktam dharmyāmṛtam śraddadhānāḥ matparāḥ (santaḥ) paryupāsate, te bhaktāḥ me atīva priyāḥ.
But those who, with faith and regarding Me as the supreme goal, worship this nectar of righteousness as declared — those devotees are exceedingly dear to Me.
Translation (Sloka Level)
But those devotees who, with faith, regarding Me as the supreme goal, partake of this nectar of dharma as taught above — they are exceedingly dear to Me.
Commentary
This closing verse of the chapter. Krishna names everything described above (verses 13–19) as "dharmyāmṛta" — the nectar of righteousness — and declares that those who practice it with faith, holding Him as the supreme goal, are most dear to Him. With this, the twelfth chapter, Bhakti Yoga, concludes.
