ಶ್ಲೋಕಾರ್ಥ (ಶ್ಲೋಕ ಮಟ್ಟ)
(ಶ್ಲೋಕ ೩ರ ಮುಂದುವರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ) ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಿ, ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಸಮಬುದ್ಧಿಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ, ಸಕಲ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ಹಿತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತರಾಗಿರುವವರೂ ಸಹ ನನ್ನನ್ನೇ ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾರೆ (ನಿರ್ಗುಣ ಉಪಾಸಕರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನೇ ಸೇರುತ್ತಾರೆ).
ವ್ಯಾಖ್ಯಾನ
ಶ್ಲೋಕ ೧೨-೩ ಮತ್ತು ೧೨-೪ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಒಂದೇ ವಾಕ್ಯ. ನಿರ್ಗುಣ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮವನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವವರೂ ಸಹ - ಇಂದ್ರಿಯನಿಗ್ರಹ, ಸಮಬುದ್ಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸರ್ವಭೂತಹಿತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ - ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ಅದೇ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮನನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಸಗುಣ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ಗುಣ ಉಪಾಸನೆ ಎರಡೂ ಒಂದೇ ಗುರಿಗೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಸೂಚ್ಯ.

Anvaya (Phrase Level)
(continuing from 12.3:) indriyagrāmam sanniyamya, sarvatra samabuddhayaḥ, sarvabhūtahite ratāḥ, te mām eva prāpnuvanti.
Having fully controlled the group of senses, even-minded everywhere, delighting in the welfare of all beings — they attain Me indeed.
Translation (Sloka Level)
(Continuing from verse 3) Having fully restrained the senses, remaining even-minded everywhere, and delighting in the welfare of all beings — they too attain Me alone.
Commentary
Verses 12.3–4 form a single sentence. Krishna states that those who worship the impersonal Absolute — while practicing sense-control, equanimity, and dedication to the welfare of all beings — ultimately reach the very same Supreme. Both the personal (saguṇa) and impersonal (nirguṇa) paths are shown to lead to the same goal.
